If you love the open sea but have your perception of the ‘dangers of the ocean’ keeping you from taking a dip, H2O Experiences is here to help. H2O Marine’s ‘Swim With Lifesavers’ programme has been conceptualised for swimmers and non-swimmers alike, who want to experience the open sea, assured of an experienced team of trained lifesavers watching their back. By extending this opportunity to swim with the lifeguards, H2O Experiences provides you and your loved ones with the convenience of getting familiarised with the sea in a safe environment.
Appointed by the Government of Goa, H2O Marine has been manning the beaches across the length and breadth of the state over the past 15 years. Since 2007, our lifeguards have saved over 4,500 lives from drowning, thereby, earning the repute of being the ‘Heroes of Goa’. When you enroll in our ‘Swim With The Lifesavers’ programme, our lifesavers will help you confidently get comfortable with the open sea while keeping you safe. Learn about flags, rip currents, and how various weather and climate factors influence the behaviour of the sea. These sessions are conducted at three locations in Goa – Baga Beach in North Goa, and the beaches of Benaulim and Utorda in South Goa. The programme is open to all able individuals above the age of 10.

SPILLING waves provide the best conditions and are safe; SURGING waves are powerful and can knock you off your feet; PLUNGING waves also called DUMPERS are dangerous, get out of their way or duck dive through them.

There are ways to know and understand the dangers or warnings when at the beach. Goa follows international codes of beach safety flags and signs.

Away from the hustle and bustle of city life, Benaulim beach is a perfect retreat to get away from it all. The long stretches of silvery sands, and pristine waters will help you relax and regenerate your spirits.
Come and enjoy a rejuvenating experience at this exotic beach. Utorda is a tranquil beach that offers tourists a calm escape from the crowds of this abundant tourist rich state.

- The programme is held from November to April each year, except during the monsoons when the beach is closed due to unsafe swimming conditions
- The programme is available from 10 am in the morning and 4 pm in the evening, every day.
- The participants are advised to reach the lifesavers tower 15 minutes prior to the programme
- Take care of your personal belongings
- The programme is subject to favourable weather & tide conditions
- No refund in case booking is cancelled within 3 Days of the date of a confirmed booking
- In case of cancellation due to unforeseen weather conditions/government restrictions booking amount will be refunded less administrative charges, Or An alternate date / time option will be provided at no additional charge.
- Avoid drinking or eating 1 hour before the programme
- Avoid consumption of alcohol, drugs or banned substances
- Follow the instructions of the lifesavers
- Avoid taking your personal belongings into the sea
